Sunny Care Homes Ltd is a supported living service which provides innovative, creative support which enables client with learning disabilities, autism, mental health illnesses and behaviours that challenge to live the lives they want and have the opportunities they deserve.

We are dedicated to providing individual tailored packages of high quality, person centred support to clients with Learning Difficulties, Autism, associated conditions, and mental health issues to develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible. We provide support to clients in accommodation-based settings.

Sunny Care Homes Ltd provide a variety of person-centred support and accommodation for clients with a range of emotional, physical, and learning needs and we work with clients on all aspects of daily living skills and individual goals...

Safeguarding

Sunny Care homes is committed to protecting all our clients and ensuring safeguarding best practice is followed at all times. We strive to maintain a transparent and open culture where everyone feels safe and able to share any issues. Concerns relating to safeguarding are always listened to and taken seriously, and we work in partnership with the relevant agencies across our full range of services. The group has robust national and local structures in place to manage safeguarding, and our clear policies and procedures are supported by the delivery of high-quality safeguarding training for all staff.

Positive Behaviour Support

Tuesdays

Our service model is underpinned by the principles of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and we are engaged with the Centre for the Advancement of Positive Behaviour Support (CAPBS) at BILD in the delivery of our staff training programme.

As part of our mandatory training all staff undertake the Department of Health’s online course; Positive and Pro-active Care and are booked to undertake CAPBS Foundation Level 1A: Introduction to Positive Behaviour Support.

Key members of our staff team are being trained to Level 1B: Practitioner Level, who will then oversee our overarching PBS strategy, which will include a monthly staff supervision specific to PBS.
